Margaret Mitchell’s novel about the Deep South during the American Civil War was brought to the screen in 1939, and went on to become one of the cinematic giants of all time. This gorgeous pre-war Belgian poster captures the romance of Rhett Butler (Clark Gable) and Scarlett O’Hara (Vivien Leigh) against the backdrop of Scarlett’s ancestral home, Tara. The MGM logo has been blacked out from the poster as was done on most of the copies we have seen.
