The film has Alan Price as a ‘Greek chorus”, an eccentric Malcolm McDowell spouting irreverent dialogue, and a cast that courted a constant surreal air by playing several parts apiece. This country-of-origin British quad features a great portrait shot of McDowell, who will forever be known to Trekkies world-wide as “the man who killed Captain Kirk.”
